Description

This tour starts at Kringlebotn school. Go down to Kringlebotn road and continue down the hill. At the first intersection, turn right and continue up the hill. Right by the stream there is a transformer, and there is a sign marked 'Tursti Storesåta'.

Follow the path up along the stream. The path rises steadily through the forest. Just after the spruce forest you come to a gap. Continue the path on the left side. There is a slight cleft on the last part up towards Storesåta. At the top you will find one of the solid white cairns that are common in the Bergen area. This is the best viewpoint. To get to Helldalssåta, continue over the ridge. The path is clear, so it is easy to follow. At the top of Helldalssåta there is also a mark. From here you have a great view down into Sædalen. Return the same way.
