Description

We started the tour at Hosanger Montessori School, but you could just as easily start the tour down by the cemetery.

Kossdalen is a narrow valley surrounded by steep mountain slopes, and in the valley lies the beautiful Kossdalsvatnet lake. Through the valley runs a nice gravel road that leads to Kossdalssvingene.

The Kossdalssvingene, which takes you up to Svenheim, is an impressive piece of work. The road is 360 meters long, 2.5 meters wide, and has walls that are up to 6 meters high.

The road winds upwards through 17 sharp hairpin bends and has a gradient of 27%.

The return trip goes the same way.
