Description
This is the most popular mountain hike from Kvamskogen, and it is just as popular in winter as in summer.
In winter, you can enjoy the trip either on mountain skis or with randonee equipment. The skiing conditions here often vary considerably. For example, in April you can experience everything from slush at the bottom of the trail, to blown and loose snow past Stueveggen, and finally hard ice and crust at the top.
The descent with randonee equipment is relatively easy, while on mountain skis it can be somewhat more demanding.
In summer, the hike is clearly marked with small cairns all the way to the top.
