Kvamskogen Panorama Ski Tour

I think it's the most beautiful ski trip in the entire Kvamskogen. The view of the forest and nearby mountains is amazing!

Go to the end of the parking lot and put on your skis. Follow the prepared ski Track to the south-east (direction Furedalen). It goes flat at the beginning before you have to go up a hill. From the top there is a long downhill run in Mormorbakken. Here you can run to the lowest parking lot in Furedalen where you follow the ski Track up to the Alpine resort. As shown on the GPS Track , we took a different route through the cabin fields. Both routes are equally good.

From the ski lift, follow the paved Track to the bridge where the last hill goes up to Mødal. You should NOT cross the bridge. Here, turn right up towards Fossdalsskaret. Follow the ridge north. At the top, it flattens out and the Track goes under the high-voltage pylons further to the upper part of the alpine facility.

There are many fun descents and the panoramic view towards Byrkjefjell, Steinskvanndalen and Fotsperrasnuten is fantastic. Cross past the top of the Alpine Resort and follow the ridge further north and then north-east. There are no paved tracks here, but many ski tracks make it easy to find your way. Run down Furedalsskaret and then follow the Track north-west. Then just follow the ski tracks down to the parking lot at Jonshøgdi.
