Hiking to the Octopus and the Cannon

Hikes start at Kiwi Valler. Walk over to Hatlestad Terrace. Just after the hill you will see a wooden staircase with a green sign marked 'Smøråsen'.

Go up the stairs and follow the path until you come back up on Hatlestad Terrace Road. Follow the road for about 200 meters to a new sign on the left.
Enter here and go up the wooden stairs on the right. It is signposted and marked. Follow the path through the spruce forest until you reach a large clearing.

Here is a carved octopus, a large gaping hole and a cannon. There is a trench from the war further down.

Nice trip to eat the packed lunch, return the same way.
