Hike to Appelsinbenken from Vallaheien

Tours start at Kiwi Valler. Walk over to Hatlestad Terrace.

Just after the hill you will see a wooden staircase with a green sign marked 'Smøråsen'. Go up the stairs and follow the path until you come back up to Hatlestad terrace. Follow the road approx. 200 meters to a new sign on the left.
Enter here and go up the wooden stairs on the right. It is signposted and marked. Follow the path through the spruce forest until you reach a large clearing.

Here is an octopus carved out of wood, but you should follow the path further on the left side. Go to the top of the stone steps and through the spruce forest. At the crossroads, continue to the right (south) past the cairn on Hamrefjellet and down the hill. Go left at the Next crossroads. Follow the path through the forest until the terrain becomes open. From there, turn right past the large marsh. Shortly after, you will come to the orange bench.  

There is a viewpoint where you can look out over the Fanafjord. Recommend returning the same way.
