Access

From Bergen city center, drive to Fana towards Lagunen. Then drive Fanaveien to Fana church and turn right at the sign Krokeide. Drive first left and use the parking lot at Fana Kulturpark.

Description

The anniversary trail 'Bergen along the way' was created in connection with Bergen's 950th anniversary.

It runs from Krokeide in the south to Salhus in the north. Approx. 55 km and 2500 meters of ascent. The trip is divided into 8 stages.

Start ved Fana Kulturpark og kryss Fanaveien. Gå videre opp i Titlestadveien (Fana kirke på venstre side) forbi Bunnpris butikken. Gå til høyre inn Kvernabekkveien og følg den langs Klokkarvatnet. Etter noen hundre meter er det skiltet Jubileumsstien og du går til venstre inn i granskogen.

From here the trail is marked with red-painted posts up to Hamrefjellet. Write your name in the mailbox and enjoy the view over Fanafjorden. Then follow the path onto Militærveien. Here there are many funny figures that 'Friends of Smøråsfjellet' have made.

After a few hundred meters you will see a new sign and turn right into the forest. Follow the marked path down to Valle.
