Hiking from Hausdal to Vesterdalen viewpoint towards Rolvsvåg

This is a great hike that you can do all year round, as around 90% of the hike follows a gravel road.

From the parking lot, go right over the bridge and follow the gravel road into the valley. You really just have to follow it all the way to the end, about 5 km. At the top of the hill you will come to a crossroads – continue straight ahead towards the sign “Vesterdalen/Rolvsvåg”. The road continues as a tractor road and then turns into a path. Follow the path a few hundred meters down the hill to the viewpoint in Vesterdalen. Here you will find a mailbox and a bench. Enjoy the view over the forest and Fusafjorden.

Return the same way, or continue down the valley to Rolvsvågen.
