Trengereidhotten (577 m) from Gullbotn

The summit itself is located in Bergen municipality, but the hike starts in Samnanger municipality.   

Go inland and follow the lighthouse to the right. The first part follows the Rett-Vest path along the river. When you get to where the lighthouse crosses (just by the bridge), take the forest road to the right of the river. Follow the forest road to the end, and then the path north across all the marshes. It is a steady climb all the way, and after a while you will see the mast in the Distance . At the top there is a panoramic view of Sørfjorden, Osterøy and famous peaks such as Brøknipa and Hananipa. Moderately easy hike, great cairn and mast at the top.
