Solbakkefjellet (458 m) from Gimmeland

Follow the gravel road (detour from Bontveitveien) inland until you reach a junction.

Take the hill up to the right, where a sign marked Solbakkefjellet shows the way. The gravel road winds up and further into the valley until you see the simple wooden bridge on the left. Follow the path into the spruce forest. Keep to the right of the large bog and walk up the hill at the end of the bog.  

Then follow the path that winds in an arc up the plateau. From here, just follow the clear path further inland. Eventually you will encounter a new climb that leads up to the top plateau above the tree line. From here you have a clear view of the cairn on Solbakkefjellet in the Distance .
