Access

To get to Upsete station (the starting point), it is not possible to drive directly. If you are traveling by car, you must park at Mjølfjell and then take the local train (Vossebanen) to Upsete station.
Otherwise, you can just take the train from Bergen.
Approx. (2 h 10 min) by train from Bergen

Description

Øykjafonn, which rises majestically to 1604 meters above sea level, is an impressive ski peak that entices with its dazzling views.

The panoramic view stretches particularly impressively to the west, and includes views of Raundalen, Raundalsryggen and Voss. This makes it an attractive destination for ski enthusiasts. You can easily reach the top by starting at Upsete
