Access

To get to Upsete station (the starting point), it is not possible to drive directly. If you are traveling by car, you must park at Mjølfjell and then take the local train (Vossebanen) to Upsete station.
Otherwise, you can just take the train from Bergen.

No parking required.

Description

The starting point for the hike is at Upsete. Follow the clearly marked trail towards Kaldavasshytta, but the destination is not the hut itself. At the crossroads before the hut, turn left and follow the trail around the north side of the smaller part of Kaldavatni. Continue following the marked trail up to the top of Vossaskavlen. From this peak, leave the trail and follow the ridge south until you reach the top of Ruvlenuten, the highest peak on Vossaskavlen.
