Upsete Mountain Lodge
Upsete Mountain Lodge is majestically located at 886 meters above sea level, at Upsete, right by the Bergen Railway and close to Myrdal station with the Flåm Railway.
You cannot get to Upsete Mountain Lodge by car. Accommodation is offered in single rooms or rooms with 2 to 3 beds. You can book accommodation with meals and a made-up bed, which includes dinner with coffee/tea in the evening, breakfast and a packed lunch. The rooms have both hot and cold water, as well as two shared shower facilities, one of which has a sauna.
In summer you can explore marked hiking trails to Grindaflethytta, Kaldavasshytta, Myrdal mountain hut and Vatnahalsen Høyfjellshotell from the tourist hut.
In winter, Upsete opens for trips down the Upsete Valley in groomed ski tracks, a groomed trail to Kaldavasshytta (Voss Utferdslag), as well as free skiing on mountain skis and randonee.
