Description
From Småbrekke hiking park, walk inland and cross the bridge.
Strap on your skis if there is snow. Walk along Småbrekevatnet inland and cross another bridge. Here you will see a cabin and a lavo. There is a sign marked 'Gullhorgabu'. Follow the road up the slope along the river to Moavatnet. Just before the water flattens out. If the ice is not safe, feel the path along the water to Moastølen. Cross another bridge and follow the branched trail into Moadalane. Here there is a steady climb into the mountain.
Follow the branched trail further into the valley and cross some water. Keep right before descending to Storlitjørni lake. If the ice is not safe, it is recommended to keep right. The summer path goes on the left side but here it is steep and more prone to landslides.
After you have crossed the water, walk past the large rock up the hill until it flattens out. Then follow the ridge to the south-west. There is a slight climb and then a downhill run to the cabin.
Return the same way. For a longer trip you can go to Kvitingen in Samnanger. But then you must have a car parked there.
Have a good trip!
