Description
Kvam offers one fascinating peak after another - and the highest peak is Fuglafjellet.
Fuglafjellet is a rugged mountain with no particularly good trails to the top. The mountain is more attractive to those who like to go off the beaten Track . A characteristic feature is the many cliffs that surround the mountain, which offer challenges when the fog creeps in. The number of cliffs also has a positive side in terms of the many exciting routes up the mountain. This hiking tip shows the route from Steinskvanndalen. You can also climb Fuglafjellet from Hamlagrø (via Vending) and from Øystese via Vossadalen/Fugladalen.
The view from the top is quite expansive. You may also be lucky enough to spot the reindeer herd that can sometimes be seen on this mountain.
