Description

At Kvamskogen, majestic mountain peaks rise in all their splendor, and among them, Iendafjellet stands as the third highest.

With Fuglafjellet (1334 m) as the highest and Tveitakvitingen as the proud second, Iendafjellet is a fantastic place to explore. This hiking tip shows the route from Kvamskogen / Wallem tunde that leads up the ridge towards Byrkjefjellet. From the top of Byrkjefjellet, an impressive descent to Såtedalen begins. The path then goes up the right side of Iendafjellet, and takes you through Purkgjelet. The well-defined path guides you safely up the right side of the gorge. After passing the gorge, the path turns left and leads you towards the cairn at the top of Iendafjellet.

Bring your camera, enjoy nature and experience Iendafjellet from Kvamskogen at its best!
