Description

Go back over the bridge you drove over. Watch carefully and cross Byvegen. There is no sidewalk here so watch carefully. Go left past the bus shelter. Just behind the bus shelter there is a path that you should walk up.

Gå deretter nordover ca. 150 meter og til venstre opp Munkeveien (veien som leder opp bakken fra Byvegen). Gå til enden av denne veien og forbi de gamle brakkene. Her går veien over til skogsvei, også kalt Munkestien. Følg denne  skogsveien sørover.  Først på flaten og deretter oppe en lang bakke.

Go past the sign pointing to Bjørnåsen and then turn left at the first intersection. At the top of the hill it flattens out and you walk parallel to a long bog. At the end of the flat there is a crossroads. Here is a bench and mailbox. On the right is the sign 'Lyshornet', but you should continue south. Follow the path through the forest and further over the bogs.

Now you will come to a new crossroads. If you go left you will come directly onto the gravel road that leads to Lysekloster. We chose to go straight ahead and follow the path through an open logging area. If you follow this option you will come onto the gravel road further down. Both options are approx. the same length.

The gravel road leads out of the forest with fields on both sides. From the start of the fields, walk about 300 meters before turning left onto the path that leads to Lysekloster.

Recommend returning the same way.
Good trip.
