Access

From Nesttun, drive towards Os until you reach the roundabout at Lyssand Bil og Meny. Here, drive towards Ulven and further towards Hagavik. Park in the bend at the entrance to Kysthosippelet.

Description

This is a short trip and perfect for a midweek evening trip. Suitable for families or as a quick workout.

The walk begins at Hovland opposite the entrance to Kysthosippe. It is signposted from the main road and at the beginning you follow the gravel road all the way up to the dam. Then you turn right and follow the path all the way to the top. It is marked with signs so you can't go wrong.

The path goes through some marshes, so good shoes are recommended. At the top there is not really a cairn, but just a pile of stones. There is also a book. The top is overgrown with trees so the view is so-so. But if you walk a little below the top you will find the actual viewpoint.
