Description
Trip from Gravdal by Falck Nutec to Lyderhorn (396 m above sea level)
Lyderhorn is one of the seven city mountains in Bergen, and perhaps one of the most visited peaks. The mountain is easy to climb and the most popular route is from Gravdal.
There are several paths through the forest, but the easiest is to follow Kvarvenbakken (asphalt road) until you reach a crossroads. Here you go straight ahead and onto the path. Follow the path to the stairs down to Skåleviksvatnet. Follow the path on the west side of the lake. The path rises steadily all the way and then goes steeply up at the end. The path is easy to follow and you can see the top from a long Distance .
At the top there is a great view of Bergen Vest, Askøy, Sotra and Øygarden.
