Description

Gravdalsfjellet is Bergen's unknown mountain and neighbor to Damsgårdsfjellet.

The hike starts from Nipedalen. The trail begins in a narrow passage between some houses. From here, the trail goes up a steep hill to Nipetjørnae. Follow the trail on the right around Nipetjørna and further down. Here you will come to a crossroads. Follow the sign 'Viggohytten' up the wooden stairs. The hut is open every Sunday between 10 am and 3 pm, and you can buy food and drinks. Follow the trail past Viggohytten to the top of Gravdalsfjellet. There is no cairn at the top. Only a sign that shows you the way forward.

Go back the same way, or continue down the valley that leads to Nygårdslien (route shown on map).

Have a good trip!
