Short walk from Bergen city center to the start.

Parking

Parking in Sandviken. Be careful of zone parking. On Sundays there are no zone parking in most places.

Description

The mountain road is a paved road that runs along the mountainside below Fløyfjellet. You can start in Sandviken and walk all the way to Bellevue / Svartediket. You can of course also go the other way. The road is closed to through traffic. Only those who live there are allowed to drive. The trip is perfect as a hike or bike ride.

Along the way along the Fjellveien you pass the start of the Permisjonsstien and Stoltzekleiven. You also pass the Fløibanen funicular. There are views of Bergen all the way.
