Lyderhorn (396 m) from Banuren

Steep route to the top. At the top there is a great view of Bergen Vest, Askøy, Sotra and Øygarden.

The hike starts at the beginning of Banurenveien. You will see a green sign with 'Lyderhorn'. Follow Banurenveien inwards past the houses for approx. 500 meters. Then you will see a large sign on the left marked 'Lyderhorn'. Follow the path into the forest. It goes steeply uphill. Follow the path all the way to the top. At the last section you will enter the path that goes from Gravdal.

Return the same way. You can do this trip almost all year round, but good hiking boots are recommended in winter. Choose the route from Gravdal if there is a lot of ice and snow.
