Ski trip to Høgehaug (980 m) from Sogndal Ski Center Hodlekve

Strap on your skis at Sogndal Ski Center. Cross the main building between the lift and the main building and follow the groomed ski Track up the hill (direction southwest). There is a groomed/marked ski Track all the way to Høgehaug.

At the beginning there is a lot of uphill before it levels out and then some gentle climbs towards the end. At Høgehaug there is a nice view.   It is approximately 5 km (one way) and 500 meters of elevation gain.

Return the same way. For a longer trip you can take the entire loop around Fjærlandssetvatnet which is a total of approx. 17 km. Worn and groomed Track . If you are going to do this tour, you should bring food and warm clothes. You are at an altitude of almost a thousand meters and the weather can change quickly.
