Access

Approximately 1 hour 23 minutes (80.4 km) drive from Bergen city center.

Parking

Parking costs money. You pay with a card in the machine that is strategically located at the entrance to the parking lot at Sjusete. You can also pay with Vipps.

Description

Torefjell towers high above Norheimsund and Øystese, and offers a fantastic fjord view along the entire route up and from the top.

There is a path from Sjusete Ski Center that leads you all the way to the top. At the very east of the top you will find a cairn.

Time: Approx. 4-5 hours round trip
Elevation gain: 857 meters
Season: May-Oct.
It is also a popular mountain for ski touring during the winter season.
