Short trip to Varden (80 m above sea level) - highest point on Tyssøy

A short hike for those who collect mountain peaks. From the parking lot, follow the paved (Kongsgardsvegen) road out to the island.

Go up the hill (turn right) and continue along the long flat. At the intersection with the old house, turn left onto a gravel road. Go past three houses until you see the gate on the left. Go through the gate and follow the path with red markers to the top.

At the top there is a view of Flesland and you can see the peak of Lyderhorn sticking up in the Distance .
