Access

From Lagunen you drive in the direction of Fana Church and on to the top of Fanafjellet. There are good parking options here.

Description

For this hike you should wear good shoes, as some parts can be wet and boggy. Cross the main road and follow the gravel road along the new building to the sheep farm museum. Remember to close the gate if you do not want to let the sheep loose. Follow the gravel road uphill, which eventually turns into a path all the way to Ramberget (299 m). Follow the path further through the forest and up the steep stairs to Lyseskarfjellet (313 m), also called Linken. From here it is flat, until a small climb up to Folldalsvarden (299 m).

Here you get a great view of the Lysefjord and Lysøyen, Austevoll, Krokeide, Korsfjorden and Fanafjorden.

Don't forget to write your name in the book.
It is recommended to go back the same way.
