Description

The most famous hike in Tysnes goes to the mountain Tysnessåta.

This route starts from Myrdal. It is steep, but sherpa stairs have been built to the top. The last part of the hike is on a path. At the top there are nice views in all directions. You can see the Rosendal Alps, the windmills at Fitjar. If you look north, you can also see some of the city mountains.

Recommend returning the same way.
