Description

Malmangernuten, also locally called 'Nuten', is one of the most popular mountain hikes in Rosendal.

It is considered the second most visited peak in the area, after Melderskin. With a significantly lower altitude than Melderskin, the season for climbing Malmangernuten on foot is also considerably longer, as the snow usually melts earlier. The hike can start from the center of Rosendal, and the trail is both well marked and signposted all the way to the summit. The surface is good, but the climb is steep.
