Description
A demanding mountain hike with an elevation gain of 1000 meters awaits you here. The hike is well marked with T-signs and signs, and at the starting point you will find an information board that provides useful information. From the top, a wide view over large parts of Sunnhordland reveals itself, with the mighty sea, the fjords, Manen, Englafjell, Rosendalsfjella and Ulvanoso as dominant elements.
It is also recommended to make a trip to Mjelkhaugsteinen, which is located about 300 meters east of the cairn. This stone, which was previously used as a sea mark, is visible from the sea. With its impressive dimensions of about 12 meters in length, 7 meters in width and 7 meters in height, it is an impressive sight in the landscape.
