Access

From Bergen city center, drive through the Fløyfjell Tunnel and then through the Eidsvåg Tunnel. Turn right and drive under the highway. Turn right into Ervikveien and then right into Selvikveien. Drive all the way to the turning on Vinddalsveien and park along the road. If you drive further, it is a private road.

Parking

Free parking along Vinddalsveien.

Description

Follow the paved Vinddalsveien road through the spruce forest. Then turn right onto the tractor road where there is a sign saying 'Stallane'.

Walk all the way to the beautiful Stallana farm, (It is open every Sunday). If you want a shorter walk you can walk the steep path from Stallane directly up to Ulskebjørnen.

Følg stien ned til Jordal og opp Jordalskaret. De som har gått over 'Vidden' vil kjenne igjen dette stedet. Her går du videre mot Vikinghytten og Vardegga. Deretter følger du varderekken mot nord-vest hele veien til Vinddalen. Her fra kan du legge turen nedom varden på Ulskebjørnen å oppleve flott utsikt over Eidsvåg. Turen bør avsluttes med en tur over Vinddalseggen videre til Stangelifjellet hvor det går stupbratt ned i Vinddalen.

Here you can either walk down the steep Sofusstien to write your way into the book, or continue to the dam to walk down the more moderate Røyrgata.
