Vøringsfossen, one of Norway's most iconic waterfalls, is located in beautiful Eidfjord in Hardanger.
With an impressive drop of 182 meters, of which 145 meters is free fall, it attracts many visitors who want to experience the dramatic nature and the fantastic views. Adapted footbridges and viewpoints give you the opportunity to get up close to the waterfall. Vøringsfossen is part of the scenic Måbødalen, which is also worth exploring.
One of the newest attractions is the Staircase Bridge, which offers a unique perspective on the falls. This spectacular footbridge, which opened on August 21, 2020, has a span of 47 meters and consists of 99 steps.
