Hike to Norddalshytten (1004 m) from Sørebø Gard

From Sørebø you can drive to Østerbø and into Østerbødalen right by the river on the right side and park when you have passed all the cultivated fields.

From there, the tractor road goes up the valley to Fossestølen and further towards Randalsvatnet. Before the last climb towards Randalsvatnet, you continue on a path that goes on the north side of the lake and up a steep slope to the high mountains. Here, after a while, you come onto the T-marked path between Brydalen and Norddalshytten. There is often some snow in this area in the first half of the summer. This is an easy entrance to Stølsheimen in beautiful high mountain terrain.
