Hike to Storehaugen (55 m) on Fanøya

On Fanøya you don't need a car or a bicycle to get around. The walk starts at the pier and Batalden Landhandleri. You start on a paved road, and at the bend at Kvernhusvågen you turn onto a path. You follow the path along the water, where a footbridge has been built over the wet marshes. At the crossroads, turn left up to Storehaugen, the island's highest point. Up here you will find a great view, a bench and a sign.

From here you can continue on the round trip which leads you first to Ragnhildhaugen, then further north before the path turns southeast and returns to the start.
