Mountain hike to Pollatinden (541 m) on Sula

From the parking lot, follow the main road for about 50 meters until you see a parking space and a sign marked 'Pollatinden'.

From here the entire hike is in mountainous terrain on rocks and stones with a steady climb towards the top. Some sections are steeper than others. The entire route is marked with small, red-painted cairns. Be careful if it has rained, as the mountain can be slippery. In dry weather the surface provides surprisingly good grip.

At the top there is a large cairn, a sign and a mailbox. Here you get a fantastic 360-degree view of Sula and Solund. To the north you can see both Alden and Bulandet.

The return trip goes the same way back.
