Access

Approximately 2 hours 35 minutes (78.7 km) drive from Ålesund.

Parking

You can find parking right Next to the stairs or along the side road.

Description

Sherpa stairs are being built from the road up to Kragsethornet (459 m).

When the stairs are completely finished, there will be over 2000 steps leading up to the top, and the length will be approximately 1 km. The view from Kragsethornet is spectacular, and you can see out to the great ocean.
