Mountain hike to Blåfjellet (533 m) in Askvoll

This is a nice and short mountain hike that you can start right from the center of Askvoll. The hike offers magnificent views of Askvoll and the surrounding islands. From the parking lot, the first part is on a gravel road, and then on a good path. First the trail goes through forest, and then in open landscape above the tree line. The trail crisscrosses the mountainside and is clearly marked with wooden pegs, so it is easy to find your way.

The last part goes over a flat mountain plateau before a small ascent to the summit cairn.
