Hiking to Vetti farm and Vettisfossen

Walk on a gravel road through Utladalen with rivers and waterfalls on each side up to Vetti Gaard. It is about 6 km up here. At the farm you can eat, drink and spend the night.

For a longer hike, you can walk to Vettisfossen. There is a path from Vetti Gaard. The path is rocky with slippery roots. At the steepest part there are chains. After the steep part there is a path along the river to the waterfall.

The trip to Vettisfossen is definitely worth it. The waterfall is a powerful sight and you can feel the water droplets and the wind on your face.
