It is about 35 minutes by car from Kristiansand, and the area by the river provides a quiet base for both a city trip and a day in nature.

The campsite has a solid surface and small roads with electricity outlets, as well as its own solutions for emptying waste water and toilets. There are sanitary facilities with showers and toilets, a changing room for young children and facilities for the disabled, in addition to a laundry room and a shared kitchen with, among other things, a stove, refrigerator, freezer and sinks.

Along the river there is a beach, a floating pier, a green area and a hiking trail, and it is possible to fish, buy a fishing license and rent a boat. For children, buggies can be borrowed, and the nearby forest provides plenty of space for play – the campsite is open all year round with full service during the summer season.
