Via Ferrata Straumsfjellet
Via Ferrata Straumsfjellet at Helle Camping is a spectacular and physically demanding climbing tour graded D (very demanding), and is referred to by many as one of Europe's toughest via ferrata routes.
The hike offers airy exposure, steep sections and fantastic views along the way. You go in groups at 10 and 11 am (arrival 30 minutes before), with or without a guide. Estimate 5–8 hours in total. Good hiking shoes, gloves and plenty of drinks are recommended. The season lasts from approximately April/May to mid-October, depending on weather conditions.
