Røldal Ski Center is one of Western Norway's most snow-sure ski resorts and an obvious choice for those who want great nature experiences combined with good skiing.
From the base area at 680 m. above sea level, the lifts quickly take you up into the high mountains, with the summit at 1300 m. Almost the entire resort is above the tree line, which provides open mountain sides, great views and a real high mountain feeling. Here you will normally find around 12 runs with a total length of about 15 kilometers.
What makes Røldal extra attractive is its long and stable season. The ski center normally opens around the turn of November/December and often stays open until May. This makes the facility a very good choice for both early season, midwinter and nice spring days skiing. From Odda it takes around 40 minutes by car, from Haugesund around 2 hours and from Bergen around 3 hours, depending on the route and ferry.
Whether you are traveling with family, friends or just want a real day of skiing in the mountains, Røldal is a facility that delivers. Here you get lots of snow, quick access to the slopes and a snowy experience in magnificent nature.
