Experience a boat trip with the King of Halne across the Halnefjord on the Hardangervidda plateau

Halne Fjellstugu is the home of the Halne King. The popular boat route has been operating since 1954, when the dam at Sleipa was built.

Take the boat across the Halnefjord as the start of a hike, or as a round trip. Or how about spending one or more nights at the Halnefjordhytta that we rent out. The Halnekongen goes from Halne Fjellstugu to Skaupa/Sleipa.

The crossing takes around 40 minutes and there is room for 37 passengers. It is not necessary to book tickets in advance during the period when Halnekongen has timetables.
